Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

The articles in the Celebes Agricultural journal are written in Indonesian or English in a practical and academic style. Published manuscripts can be in the form of the author's research, review, or synthesis related to Agriculture. Manuscripts must not have been and will not be published in other journals.

Title. The title is written in English (size 18) and Indonesian (size 14), Adobe Garamond Pro font , a maximum of 14 words; the article title must be specific, practical, and concise and can describe the contents of the manuscript.

Author. Author's name without academic degree, Palatino Linotype font, size 10, single space, followed by affiliation below, accompanied by full address, for correspondence including email.

Abstract. Abstract written in English and Indonesian typed in one space., Palatino Linotype, 8 pt, no more than 250 words, contains the important introduction written briefly, research objectives, methods, results, and principal conclusions in a nutshell. The implications of research results should also be listed in the abstract.

Keywords. 3-5 words, font size 8, arranged from left to right in alphabetical order.

Introduction. Contains the background of the research conducted, the sentences are short, concise, and straightforward. This introduction also includes the research objectives, which are written at the end of the paragraph.

Materials and Methods. The method contains the time and place of research, data sources, data collection techniques and procedures, and data analysis. The research design and stages are described effectively to reflect a precise process/stage and are equipped with information on the types and units of materials used. The use of units uses the International Standard (SI).

Results and Discussion. Results and Discussion in the article aims to answer the formulation of the problem and research questions, show how the findings were obtained, explain the meaning of the research results, how the research results can solve problems, and the possibility of its development. Discussion and analysis must answer the issues and research objectives.

Conclusion. It contains things that state the relationship between the variables studied—made in one paragraph, not in bullet points. Findings must answer the problem and research objectives. The conclusion is not a summary, nor is it a rewrite of the discussion.

Acknowledgment (Optional). Write anyone who provided academic assistance, technical help (including writing and editing), or special equipment or materials.

References. Following what is referred to in writing and using a primary library of at least 80% of scientific journals. As much as possible, use the latest references for the last 5 (five) years. How to write a library as follows:
